Marching South

Once the Americans and Britain managed to get a firm foothold on the Normandy Beaches, it meant France would be inevitably lost to the German cause. With the Soviet Union pushing the Eastern Front back towards the former Soviet borders, it was clear that Germany was now losing a war it had dominated for so long. With Paris recaptured, it was only a matter of time and overall resistance before Germany would lose France altogether. And once France was lost, Germany would be next on the bucket list.

Honestly this took almost four hours to make. I spent probably a quarter of that time looking on the internet for a transparent mud png. It was either all cartoon-like or it was from some f*cking stock-photo site that had watermarks all over it. I had to give in on that.

A large portion of the time spent actually was focused on scene-building and getting the three people seen in a position I liked. The tanks were more or less a pain in the ass to get in the best position. I also initially had the planes in the background flying in a different direction, with one clearly having an engine failure. 

I still like the way it turned out, even with it taking far too long.
